EU at EuroScience Open Forum 2022: focus on EU Missions and young research talents
The EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) 2022 will start today in Leiden, European City of Science 2022. This year marks its 10th edition, which will take place until 16 July under the theme “Crossing Borders, Engaged Sciences, Resilient Societies”. The European Union will be present with a dedicated EU pavilion, revolving around the five EU missions as well as young research talents. The pavilion will host the first ever European Talent Fair on Saturday 16 July.

Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, said:

ESOF brings together researchers, innovators, policymakers, industry representatives and the public at large to discuss current and future breakthroughs in contemporary science. Synergies between academia and industry, as well as public and private sectors are key for research and innovation to grow its impact. I encourage young researchers to participate in the European Talent Fair to discover new opportunities to advance their careers.
