On 22nd May 2024, the S3 Community of Practice (S3CoP) Working Group on Industrial Transition will host the second in a series of webinars titled "Paving the Way for Industrial Transition through Systemic Change and Inclusive Strategies". This webinar, organised by the S3 Community of Practice (S3CoP), is part of a series of webinars facilitated by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO), with support from the S3 Community of Practice Secretariat. These webinars aim to engage S3 stakeholders from regions across the EU Member States, bringing together experts, policymakers, and key industry representatives to discuss common challenges, good practices, and lessons learned from EU regions in paving the way for industrial transition.
Addressing the challenges linked to long-term transformations demands a comprehensive approach, encompassing understanding and navigating systemic change, alongside ensuring an inclusive industrial transition to prevent any region from being left behind.
The event will focus on key implementation challenges identified by S3 practitioners in meeting the S3 enabling condition for industrial transition and gather stakeholder perspectives on needed S3 strategies and support actions to enhance systemic industrial transition efforts across European regions.
The webinar is designed to allow participants to keep up to date to the most recent activities of the Working Group, get insights from EU regions and industry representatives and participate in the discussions.
