Tackling the legal and administrative obstacles that border regions face is fundamental to overcome strong asymmetries between regions and to improve the life of people across borders.
That is why INTERACT and the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) organise the webinar “Tackling border obstacles” dedicated to Interreg programmes and any actor in border regions.
The webinar will raise awareness about border obstacles and ways to solve them and explore the initiative “b-solutions 2.0. Solving Cross-Border Obstacles”, a project of DG REGIO to strengthen cross-border cooperation.
Participants will have the opportunity to directly ask people involved in b-solutions any questions they have: Monica Lazzaroni, Head office Europe Unit of the Province of Lucca, will bring her testimonial from Interreg Marittimo-Maritime, and Marina Kuhn, Head of the Euregio via salina, will talk about their experience tackling obstacles identified within Interreg Austria-Bavaria.
