Desired Expertise
JTPeers Experts provides an unparalleled opportunity for professionals, researchers and practitioners to contribute in their own personal capacity to the success of just transition initiatives by offering expert advisory support to JTF projects and activities. To be eligible, applicants (from both the public and private sector) should possess the following experiences and attributes:
- Expertise in just transition processes, especially in directly preparing and elaborating TJTPs;
- Prior engagement with the JTP and/or participation in other relevant EU programmes and initiatives;
- Proven track-record of technical assistance, peer-exchanges, capacity building, or advisory work, especially related to eligible JTF territories;
- Proficiency in delivering and governing just transition projects, including developing project pipelines, implementing monitoring/evaluation mechanisms, and engaging stakeholders effectively.
The database focuses on key areas such as green economic diversification, job creation, and more, aiming to address the social, employment, economic, and environmental impacts of the transition to climate-neutrality in the EU.
