The city of Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic, has one of the first technological incubators in the eastern part of the European Union, the JIC Innovation Park.

Its success has made it a magnet for entrepreneurs and companies. Embedded in the smart specialisation strategy for the region of South Moravia, the JIC Innovation Park has contributed to create 3500 qualified jobs since 2003. The JIC also provides training workshops, in coordination with universities. Thanks to EU funds, the incubator gives a real boost to the local economy!
