The European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy is seeking proposals for editorially independent reporting about cohesion policy.

The total budget of this 6th call for proposals is EUR 7 million. Grants of up to €300 000 are available for each winning project, to cover a maximum of 80% of eligible costs.
Eligible applicants include media, universities, communication agencies and other private entities and public bodies (with the exception of managing authorities and intermediate bodies). The deadline to apply is 10 January 2023.

Background
The Call follows a similar call launched last year, which attracted 200 applications. At the end of the evaluation period, 28 beneficiaries were selected to implement communication actions in more than 18 EU Member States. The names of the beneficiaries of the latest call have been published online.
With a call for proposals published every year since 2017 and a total budget of EUR 18.8 million, DG REGIO has supported so far the communication actions of 130 media and other entities.
