Future of Cohesion Policy: what will cooperation look like?

At the beginning of the year the Commission created a “High-Level Reflection Group” to launch a debate on cohesion policy beyond 2027. The 5th meeting of the Group on 4 July focused on the future of territorial cooperation, notably Interreg.

EUSAIR Forum in Sarajevo – “We need to work with the youth and not just for the youth”

The 8th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region (EUSAIR), one of the four EU Macro-regional Strategies, took place in Sarajevo from 23 to 25 May 2023 and ended with the adoption of the Sarajevo Declaration. This was the final and very successful event of the Presidency of Bosnia & Herzegovina, which was chairing the Strategy for the first time and for one year and which passed it to Croatia on 1 June 2023.

Council conclusions on the Report from the Commission on the EU macro-regional strategies approved!

The Council approved its conclusions on the 4th Report from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions on the implementation of EU macro-regional strategies, on 27 June 2023.
