EU Cohesion Policy: €3.26 billion for Slovenia's economic competitiveness, digital transition, and climate goals

Slovenia will benefit from €3.26 billion in Cohesion Policy funding between 2021-2027 to support the sustainable development of its economy. The details and strategy for these investments are set out in the Partnership Agreement between Slovenia and the Commission that was adopted today.

Commission and European Investment Bank unlock up to €10 billion to support public investments in the territories in transition towards a climate-neutral economy

The Commission and the European Investment Bank (EIB) have signed an agreement on the Public Sector Loan Facility, the third pillar of the Just Transition Mechanism (JTM), to pave the way for public sector entities in the EU territories and regions that need most support in Europe’s transition to a climate-neutral economy to benefit from €1.5 billion grants from the Commission and €10 billion of EIB loans.

EU Cohesion Policy: €467 million for cooperation actions in the North West Europe, Atlantic and Arctic area

Thanks to the adoption of three Interreg transnational programmes, the Commission will invest €467 million from European Regional Development Fund in the 2021-2027 programming period for cooperation actions in the North West Europe, Atlantic and Arctic area – especially, in the field of environment and resilience against climate change.

EU Cohesion Policy: more than €65 million for a better water and wastewater infrastructure in Sibiu County in Romania

The Commission has approved a contribution of more than €65 million from the 2014-2020 Cohesion Fund for a better water and wastewater infrastructure in the Medias, Agnita and Dumbraveni regions, in Sibiu County, Romania.
