EU solidarity: €5.4 million of advance payments to Spain following the volcanic eruption in La Palma

About €5.4 million from the EU Solidarity Fund (EUSF) are granted to Spain as an advance payment to cover the costs of the immediate emergency and the recovery operations carried out in response to the volcanic eruption on the island of La Palma, Canary Islands.

I3 calls: Additional cut-off date for the I3 Call dedicated to Strand 2a: 20 April 2022

The European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) has set an additional cut-off date for submitting applications to the I3 Calls dedicated to Strand 2a. Documentation and links for submitting applications to the I3 Call dedicated to Strand 2a are now available online.

EU cohesion policy: More than €70 million to improve water quality and wastewater infrastructure in Romania

Today, the Commission has approved an investment of more than €70 million from the Cohesion Fund to improve water and wastewater infrastructure in Romania’s Sibiu and Braşov counties in line with the Drinking Water Directive and the Urban Waste Water Directive.
