Dear Colleagues,
We are happy to inform you that the latest CORTEX release as of October 2021 is now available online. CORTEX is the Commission’s text-mining tool, supporting policy decisions with data-driven insights about the implementation of the policies through the EU programmes. The current version of the tool proposes text mining access to the wealth of the Commission’s eGrants data.

In October CORTEX completed some of its important milestones. Here is what we have been working on:
MFF 2021-2027 programmes: We are now registering proposal information for over 30 programmes including 13 MFF 2021-2027 programmes. More information in the release note here.
Project results: CORTEX now incorporates information on project results notably the ones from the Horizon Results Platform (HRP) and CORDIS results in More information in the release note here.
New portfolio management functionalities: CORTEX expands its functionalities supporting portfolio analysis. From now on you can import proposal list into your portfolio via the new interface feature. CORTEX portfolio information is now available in the eGrants Business Objects. More information here.
Clustering module is now publically available. CORTEX clustering provides support for the analysis of unstructured data, notably: unsupervised concept extraction, concepts grouping and identification of group similarities. CORTEX clustering functionality is available at: https://webgate.ec.testa.eu/textmining/clustering
