Save-the-date: Info Day on 2023 AGRIP calls for proposals on 1 and 2 February 2023

Info Days are planned on 1 February from 13.30 to 17.00 and on 2 February from 8.30 to 14.00. These will be hybrid events taking place online, as well as onsite at the Albert Borschette Congress Center, Rue Froissart 36, Brussels. More information will follow.

2022 AGRIP call for proposals for simple programmes: EU to fund 55 projects

116 proposals were submitted to the 2022 call for proposals for simple programmes. 55 programmes will be supported with a budget of EUR 85 million.

41 proposals were submitted to the 2022 call for proposals for multi programmes. 28 programmes will be supported with a budget of EUR 67.8 million.

Mexican journalists and influencers dive deep into the heart of EU agri-food production

From 28 September to 1 October , “A Trip to Europe in Every bite” campaign accompanied five Mexican journalists and influencers to Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia to find out more about EU fruits, vegetables, meat, beer and wine production. They could see how EU farmers and producers applied different safety, quality and sustainability standards for food and beverage production ensuring their products’ authentic character. In addition, they could taste exquisite meals cooked with local and fresh EU ingredients.

EU Asian campaigns win the 19th Annual International Business Awards!

EU promotion campaigns on agricultural products in South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and China have recently won various awards at the 19th Annual International Business Awards, under the category Communications/PR campaign of the year: "European Food: Share the Shades of Excellence” campaign in China: Gold prize, Food & Beverage; “European Food: Share the Shades of Excellence” campaign in China: Silver prize, Social Media Focused; “Colours by Europe. Tastes of Excellence” campaign in South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia: Bronze prize, Food & Beverage

High quality agricultural produce from the EU land in Australia

In September, an EU pavilion welcomed thousands of visitors for four days at the Fine Food Australia (FFA) trade event. Shows and tastings of 85 different EU agricultural food and beverage products from all across the EU aimed to encourage businesses to import, distribute or use EU agri-food produce in Australia.

EU Pavilion at Food and Hotel Asia 2022 in Singapore, 5-8 September

Following the fruitful high-level mission, led by Commissioner Wojciechowski to Singapore in July, the EU hosted a successful pavilion at Food and Hotel Asia 2022 in Singapore. 14 EU Member State pavilions along with co-funded EU programmes and EU companies, promoted EU agri-food and quality schemes at one of the largest food and beverage fairs in Asia.
