On 24 October 2023 in Brussels, Planet on the mend: Climate Action in the Mediterranean, an event organized by the DG NEAR with support from the Clima-Med project, took place with several EU and South Mediterranean actors to raise awareness of the climate crisis affecting the region, and to discuss solutions.

DG NEAR B2 was present at the 2023 IGNITE North Africa Conference, organized by SPARK, gathering different groups from public and private sector as well as investors and entrepreneurs to share their thoughts about how can they improve the economic opportunities for youth, women and refugees in North Africa.
