News from the Delegations: Ramat Gan is preparing for the climate crisis and is launching a vast environmental project with the support of the European Union

"Water-sensitive city", a unique project led by the Ramat Gan Municipality with the support of the European Union and in partnership with Adam Teva VeDin, Shenkar and Bar Ilan University, is putting for the first time the climate crisis as a top priority for the city.

Clima-Med presents the third film of a series that showcases Israeli cities' commitment to dealing with climate change effects, focusing on green technologies.

Clima-Med's short film, "A Glimpse of Hope", is centred around inspiring stories of its inhabitants and local actors, their actions, and solutions to fight for a more sustainable future. It also shows the engagement of the EU in the region in the Green Deal Agenda on Climate Action framework.

EuroMeSCo publishes the Policy Study on Social Economy

Assessing the Job Creation Potential of the Social Economy in the MENA Region is the new Policy Study coordinated by Philippe Adair, Emeritus Professor at ERUDITE, University Paris-Est Créteil. It counts with contributions from Vladimir Hlasny, Economic Affairs Officer at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, Kareem Sharabi Rosshandler, Lead researcher at the Economic Growth Pillar department in the West Asia-North Africa Institute; and Mariem Omrani, Data Analyst at UNICEF MENA Regional Office.
