From road to waterways: progress on the Seine-Scheldt cross-border flagship project to strengthen sustainability and economic opportunities
We adopted a decision laying down the steps and timeline to complete the Seine-Scheldt cross-border project. Once completed, the Seine basin will be directly linked by continuous inland waterway to the Scheldt basin in the north of France and in Belgium. It will also further be linked to the Scheldt basin in The Netherlands and to other important European waterway basins such as the Rhine and the Meuse.

TEN-T review
We started the review of #TEN_T guidelines, in view of TEN-T completion by 2030 (core network) and by 2050 (comprehensive network). All stakeholders are welcome to contribute : http://europa.eu/!jn63qY . See the provisional timeline ↓

Aviation Strategy
As part of our #AviationStrategyEU @Transport_EU has received the mandate to negotiate new #aviation agreements to provide more connections & better prices for passengers and support high environmental, fair competition and social standards in aviation.

Upcoming funding opportunities
€356 million represents the amount of upcoming funding opportunities under the Mobility for Growth, Automated Road Transport, Green Vehicles, and Next Generation Batteries calls. It will be presented during the Horizon Transport Information Day this October.
