New open calls for proposals under the Justice and Rights, Equality and Citizenship (REC) programmes!

EU funding translate EU policies into tangible results on the ground, empowering EU citizens, safeguarding their fundamental rights and promoting justice. DG JUST has issued new calls for project proposals under the Justice and REC programmes. Most of these calls open today (15 January 2020), 4 calls will open on 21 January. Don’t miss these funding opportunities!

Project “Judicial response to terrorism in the light of the Charter of Fundamental Right of the EU”: good practice in the field of judicial training

In this issue, we’d like to present you the project “Judicial response to terrorism in the light of the Charter of Fundamental Right of the EU”. Co-funded by the Justice programme, this project ran from July 2016 to June 2018.

Child protection policies: What they are? Why they are so important? When they are necessary?

Here we explain what child safeguarding and child protection policy mean. In particular: 1. Why it is important to have a policy and apply it when working with children; 2. When you have to submit your policy together with your project proposal; 3. What happens if you don’t do it by the call closing date. We’ll also give you some tips on how to develop a child protection policy and provide links to good child protection policies.
