Major step towards reduction of animal tests for the quality control of veterinary vaccines

JRC scientists have contributed to a new guideline released by the International Cooperation on Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Registration of Veterinary Medicinal Products (VICH) to allow the waiving of an unnecessary animal test for batch safety testing of veterinary vaccines.

ALURES Statistical EU Database is launched!

The ALURES Statistical EU Database on the use of animals for scientific purposes provides data collected by the Member States and submitted to the European Commission annually. It offers free access to all interested in obtaining more information on animal use in the EU. The database is supported by a downloadable leaflet and a video.

EPAA Annual Conference
