Easter Edition

Dear BLSI community member,

As we approach the upcoming Easter break, we are excited to share with you the latest updates and activities from our community over the past months. We invite you to delve into this edition and stay informed about the vibrant happenings in digital-ready policymaking.

Firstly, get ready for the news and events that are coming! Want to deepen your knowledge on regulatory reporting? Read our newly released issue paper "Translating Regulatory Reporting Principles into Actions". This comprehensive guide extends our initial work, presenting a systematic approach to effortlessly incorporate regulatory reporting principles into policy proposals.

Moreover, Interoperable Europe Academy will take place on 11 and 12 April 2024. This event, organised jointly by the Directorate General for Digital Services (DIGIT) and KU Leuven, will include discussions about the new Interoperable Europe Act and its implications. Also, the SEMIC Conference 2024 will be back on 27 June featuring engaging keynotes, insightful panels, and interactive sessions. Save the date and stay tuned for the updates!

Lastly, on 22 March 2024 another BLSI Virtual Breakfast took place. This time we delved into multidisciplinary teams with the help of our speakers: prof. Min Tang (University of Applied Management), Athanasios Karalopoulos (European Commission), and Thomas Guillet (beta.gouv.fr). Here you can access the recording and the presentations.

Kind regards,
