Dear Reader, 

Are you professionally involved or enthusiastic about open source in the public sector? Then we have big news for you! 

To mark its 15th anniversary, OSOR, the European Commission Open Source Observatory, will host a special conference on 21 November in Brussels. 

OSOR turns 15: from pioneering to mainstreaming open technologies in public services" will be an unforgettable event where the Europeanopen source community will come together, including representatives from public administrations, businesses, NGOs, academia, developers, and open-source enthusiasts. 

The event will host a series of panel discussions enriched by accomplished speakers. Themes will include open-source policies, collaboration on open-source initiatives among European public services, and successful open-source projects at the regional and municipal level. 

To top it off, the grand finale of the OSOR Awards will close the conference. It will showcase the most innovative and successful open-source solutions and initiatives developed by European public administrations. The submissions are still open!
