You're invited to SEMIC 2023 in Madrid. Save the date!
Dear reader,

We are delighted to announce that SEMIC, the European Commission’s annual conference on semantic interoperability, has returned!

With an ‘Interoperable Europe in the age of AI’ as its central theme, the new SEMIC conference will take place in Madrid on the 18th of October. The event is organised in collaboration with the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union

What to expect

As new applications in AI develop at a high speed, #SEMIC2023 will explore the success stories and hurdles public sector interoperability faces when applying semantics and AI. Furthermore, insights on the state of play of the Interoperable Europe Act Commission proposal will (among others) be given.

The edition of previous year (SEMIC 2022) attracted hundreds of participants from all over Europe and beyond who shared their useful insights and created meaningful professional relationships.

#SEMIC2023 will provide ample of opportunities to do so as well, with inspirational sessions with high-level panellists, workshops and plenty of networking occasions.

Get inspired and watch the short aftermovie of #SEMIC2022 in Brussels!
