Big Buyers Working Together: project launched with kick-off webinar and Needs Assessment Survey

Let us welcome the Big Buyers Working Together project! As announced during the official online kick-off on 25 May, the project has released a comprehensive survey as the initial step of the multistage Needs Assessment.

This assessment aims to identify key public procurement areas to focus on over the next five years in10 new Communities of Practice. For more information on the project and the survey, and to watch the video recording of the kick-off meeting, click below.

How do start-ups fit in? A new brochure guides public buyers

Available in all EU languages, this brochure from the European Commission guides public buyers through the benefits of collaborating to modernise public services for citizens and businesses with the main contenders of the innovation ecosystem: start-ups. Platform members are encouraged to peruse the brochure and launch a new discussion inviting their peers’ contributions to the topic.

Applications are now open for the third edition of the European Innovation Procurement Awards (EUIPA)! Submit yours here until 17 August 2023 (17:00:00 CEST).

Supported by the European Innovation Council (EIC) under Horizon Europe, EUIPA recognises the efforts of public and private buyers, as well as individuals and organisations that promote innovation procurement and pioneering procurement solutions.

Open Market Consultation by CircularPSP project

The CircularPSP (Public Service Platforms for Circular, Innovative and Resilient Municipalities) project is actively approaching the market to gain insight into the state of play as well as future developments for successful procurement.
