Mr Filippo Spiezia (62) returns to Eurojust as National Member for Italy, after a two-year mandate as Head Public Prosecutor of Florence. Mr Spiezia is a well-experienced Italian magistrate with extensive expertise as an anti-mafia and counter-terrorism prosecutor and a legal specialist in cross-border judicial cooperation.

Prosecutor Ms Anikó Orosz has started her mandate at Eurojust as the new National Member for Hungary. She has been a member of the Hungarian Prosecution Service since 2003, specialising in cases involving the trafficking of human beings.

In a bid to strengthen their partnership against organised crime, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States hosted, with the support of the EU-funded CTJUST project, a high-level workshop in Cairo, Egypt, on 16-17 July 2025.

The 4th meeting of the Focus Group of Specialised Prosecutors against Trafficking in Human Beings (THB) took place at Eurojust on 24 and 25 September 2025.

From 29-30 September, Eurojust and the Council of Europe (COE) joined forces to tackle the growing challenge of cybercrime, with a particular focus on the importance of cross-border exchange of e-evidence.
