In Focus: Eurojust Annual Report 2024
|
|
|
With criminal networks increasingly operating across continents and currencies, international judicial cooperation is more vital than ever. The Agency’s annual report, released in May, highlights the steps Eurojust has taken to boost our cooperation with third countries, specifically through new partnerships with Latin America, as well as the launch of the European Judicial Organised Crime Network.
Last quarter, Eurojust continued to expand its network of international partners, signing new working arrangements with both Egypt and the Republic of Korea. With these signatures, Eurojust has now concluded nine working arrangements with countries outside of the EU – and in the case of South Korea, the first working arrangement with a country in Asia.
