Expert workshop in Greece explores analytics for OJAs
In September 2023, Cedefop and Eurostat hosted a workshop in Thessaloniki, Greece, on enhancing analytics for OJAs. The event gathered 60 participants, including the network of experts helping Cedefop and Eurostat in this domain, and Web Intelligence Network (WIN) members. It featured six sessions covering various project aspects, such as green skills, skill relevance, Natural Language Processing samples, occupation classification and source overlaps. The active involvement of WIN members working in OJAs was particularly important, as it allowed for direct interaction and collaboration between all key project developers and potential WIH users.

Read two newly published reports with findings from the Work Platforms Study
Two reports with findings from the Work Platforms Study have been published on the Collaboration in Research and Methodology for Official Statistics (CROS) portal. The Work Platforms Landscaping Report examines Digital Labour Platforms (DLPs) in five European countries, highlighting disparities in the economic sectors preferences and data availability within these platforms. The Work Platforms Feasibility Study assesses the technical feasibility of collecting data from DLPs and suggests that formal agreements with DLPs would be optimal for high quality data. Both reports provide valuable insights into the landscape and data extraction feasibility of DLPs.
