Dear colleague,

We are pleased to announce the publication of the July edition of the EU GPP News Alert.

This edition opens with news about the savings possible from preparing low-carbon tenders, namely through the EU-funded GPP 2020 project. Over the course of three years, more than 100 tenders were implemented by over 40 public authorities in nine countries in the context of the project.

New EU GPP criteria have just been published for Roads, and the Buying Green! Handbook is now available in all the official EU languages.

Furthermore, this edition includes details of two good practice cases: the first one on the City of Vienna's energy efficient data centre, the second one on how energy performance contracting has been used to finance efficient outdoor lighting in Cádiz (Spain).
