Smart Readiness Indicator

The SRI support team is proposing a one-hour online training webinar in English, open to all stakeholders interested in the Smart Readiness Indicator. Presentations will be delivered by the SRI support team members VITO, Waide Strategic Efficiency Europe, and R2M Solution.

The webinar will address:

• A reminder on the overall SRI framework and its background.
• A presentation of the building blocks of the SRI methodology: its key functionalities, impact criteria and technical domains, as well as scoring principles.
• An introduction to the two regular methods (simplified vs. detailed) for SRI calculation.
• An overview of available public resources to learn further about the SRI.

The event will offer opportunities for Q&A at the end of the presentations.

It will be recorded and made available online on the SRI web page after the event.

Registrants to the SRI platform plenary meeting on 16 December (see below) are strongly encouraged to participate in this training session to get acquainted with the SRI, its foundations and functioning.

The SRI platform serves to promote and support the testing and implementation of the SRI. This meeting gathers Member States and all stakeholders interested in the SRI to facilitate interaction and discussion on technical, regulatory and implementation aspects of the SRI.

The SRI platform will also support working groups focusing on specific elements of the SRI, for instance on exchanging SRI testing experiences, methodological aspects or aspects related to the assessment and implementation of the SRI such as the service catalogues or the design of the SRI certificate.

At the agenda of this first plenary meeting:

• The summary of the previous SRI development work.
• What is in the EPBD and the SRI acts.
• Brief overview on tasks and planning of the SRI Support contract.
• Testing programmes – summary of current status.
• SRI platform – presentation on the structure and operation of the platform, invitation to join open Working Groups.
• Open discussion on questions received via the chat.
