New EPO Study: Cancer-Fighting Innovations on the Rise

A recent study published by the European Patent Office (EPO) reveals a significant increase in cancer-fighting inventions. The number of international patent families (IPFs) related to this field has surged by 70% between 2015 and 2021. The report further emphasises that over the past 50 years, more than 140,000 inventions aimed at combating cancer have been made public through patent documents.
