EIC is part of Commission’s Strategic Technology proposal with extra €2.63 billion for scale ups
|
|
Following the Commission proposal of the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (‘STEP'), the EIC Accelerator is proposed to receive a top-up under the Horizon Europe. It will support game changing innovation, providing additional firepower to support start-ups grow and scale-up. The extra funding will be channeled through the EIC Fund, provide equity-only support between €15 and €50 M.

|
New group of deep tech start-ups selected and high number of applicants under EIC Accelerator
|
|
A new set of 51 companies have been selected to receive €260 million of EIC funding, combining grants and equity.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Additionally, a new EIC Accelerator cut-off closed on 21 June with 648 full proposals submitted, an increase of 17% compared to the previous 2023 cut-offs. This also follows the switch in the application platform that took place on 2 June 2023.
