Protecting Latin American superfoods

The so-called “superfoods” are rich in compounds considered beneficial to a person’s health. Be aware that, in the European Union, marketing products as "superfoods" is prohibited unless accompanied by a specific health claim supported by credible scientific research. European Innovation Council Summit 2022

New case studies on PVRs and GIs in the Dominican Republic

The CARIFORUM Intellectual Property Rights and Innovation Project (CarIPI) has released 4 new case studies on the registration of Plant Variety Rights and Geographical Indications in the Dominican Republic.
