European Innovation Council Work Programme 2022 adopted

The 2022 work programme opens funding opportunities worth over €1.7 billion in 2022 for breakthrough innovators to scale up and create new markets.

Novelties under the new work programme include:

  • A new EIC Scale-Up 100 initiative
  • Equity investments above €15 million under EIC Accelerator
  • Stronger support to women innovators
  • Improved processes for applicants and more frequent application deadlines
  • New EIC Challenges targeted towards European policy priorities
