Mexican National Customs Agency to enforce IP rights at the Mexican border
The creation of this agency, considering the international treaties of which Mexico is now party to, gives hope that customs may actually be granted the power to act without an injunction. This way, they will be able to secure and seize infringing goods that violate IP rights. Whether or not the agency will be able to act ex officio and seize counterfeit goods without an injunction will be revealed once we get the Internal Regulations of the National Customs Agency of Mexico.
