A study carried out by IP Key Latin America and the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI) has revealed that industries that protect their Intellectual Property the most have a productivity above the sector average, representing more than 55% of the Peruvian GDP between 2015-2018.

This free tool provides SMEs with a pre-evaluation of costs related to the management of Intellectual Property Rights in the Latin American countries covered by the Helpdesk. It allows users to freely calculate the application and renewal fees for copyright, trade marks, design patents, invention patents and utility models in all Latin America countries.

The Helpline service provides first-line assistance on Intellectual Property protection and IP rights enforcement in Latin America. All questions sent through this service will receive a tailor-made answer by our IP experts or it will be signposted to appropriate organisations within no more than 3 working days.
