The European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot and Nasdaq invite you to apply for an exclusive pitching event for Deep Tech companies in Stockholm, Sweden. On 27 and 28 November, 21 companies funded by the SME Instrument strand of the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot presented their ideas and business models to Ferrovial at the Impact Hub Gobernador in Madrid, Spain.

On 14 and 15 November, the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot and SUEZ, in partnership with Naturgy, promoted a Corporate Day in Barcelona. 19 companies funded by the SME Instrument strand from the EIC pilot, shared their vision towards a circular economy with top corporate representatives.

On 28 and 29 November, a selected group of companies funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot had the chance to share their visions for transforming healthcare with Medtronic corporate representatives in Tolochenaz, Switzerland.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot and Sonae joined efforts to promote a more sustainable future for food production. On 21 and 22 November, in Lisbon, 13 companies had the chance to share their projects and solutions during presentations, discussions and one-to-one meetings with Sonae representatives, key partners and like-minded innovators.

The European Innovation Council(EIC) pilot and Veolia have joined forces to promote a matchmaking event on 10-11 December in Paris. EIC-funded companies take the stage to present their approaches to business transformation and engage in one-to-one meetings with Veolia representatives.

The European Commission received 2223 proposals for the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot‘s SME Instrument Phase 1 before the latest cut-off date on 7 November 2018. SMEs from 41 countries submitted proposals. Stay tuned – results will come out in December 2018.

After a thorough application process, 16 companies funded by the EIC pilot and working on disruptive solutions in Healthtech or Digital Technologies have been selected to present their innovations online on 15 November in front of a expert jury. The best companies in each of the two online sessions - 8 companies will pitch at each session - secure a spot at the European Venture Contest Final, on 10-11 December, in Düsseldorf.

For the last Oversease Trade fair with the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot, 14 cutting-edge European machinery and metal working SMEs wen to Metalex 2018, from 21 to 24 November in Bangkok, Thailand.
