Within the COST initiative RESTORE - Rethinking Sustainability TOwards a Regenerative Economy - since 2017 a network of researchers and experts have been actively addressing the question of what would a paradigm shift in sustainability in the built environment sector look like. A new paradigm calls for a more comprehensive and holistic approach to sustainability, one that focuses not only on energy, but also on actively contributing to the regeneration and improvement of people, society and planet health.
