Be Online Smart: EU-wide EDMO Media Literacy Campaign
|

What is an algorithm and why do we need to know how they work? Throughout May, the EDMO network engaged with citizens across the EU as part of the “Be Online Smart” media literacy campaign. Using postcards and posters that were for example disseminated in partnership with public municipal offices, the initiative promoted critical thinking, safe online practices, and awareness of disinformation.
