The European Parliament and the Council have adopted on 15 July, the Commission’s proposal allowing to extend the time limits for the collection, verification and examination phases applicable to European citizens’ initiatives. In particular, this measure aims to help initiative organisers whose campaigns have been impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Eleven European citizens’ initiatives are currently collecting signatures. Take a minute to check them out and lend them your support.
