The InvestEU Portal and EuroQuity joined forces to organize an e-pitch focused on Agritech, Food and Beverages solutions, which was held online on September 27th. Five selected InvestEU Portal start-ups took part and pitched to European investors.

The InvestEU Portal and the European Business Angel Network (EBAN) co-organized the European Angel Investment Summit (EAIS) taking place in Brussels on 10 and 11 October. The two-day summit provided pitching opportunities for 25 selected InvestEU Portal innovative start-ups, interesting panel discussions as well as breakout sessions, including a dedicated InvestEU workshop. The event hosted hundreds of business leaders, early-stage investors, business angels, VCs, entrepreneurs, accelerators, seed funds and start-ups.

On November 8 EuroQuity and InvestEU Portal hosted its third investors office hours online event, where 10 ClimateTech InvestEU Portal start-ups held one-on-one coaching sessions with European investors. These private meetings allowed founders to address topics such as fundraising, valuation, setting up a proof of market or scaling up a business.

The longstanding cooperation between the InvestEU Portal and EuroQuity continued with the co-organisation of the virtual pitching event on Digital Economy and Solutions. Five selected InvestEU Portal projects took part and received specific pitching training upfront the event.

The InvestEU Portal was presented at this year’s InvestEU Roadshow event in Oslo – Norway. The InvestEU Roadshows are a series of high-level events organised to explain how the InvestEU programme works and present its opportunities.

The InvestEU team presented the InvestEU Programme and InvestEU Portal at the EU Finance Days, which took place in Helsinki. The EU Finance Days 2023 are organised by the European Commission services & Representations in cooperation with the European Investment Bank Group and the Enterprise Europe Network. During the events, the EU programmes and financial support opportunities are presented to relevant stakeholders.

The InvestEU team participated at the EU Industry Days in Malaga, Spain. The EU Industry Days are Europe’s flagship annual event focusing on key industrial policy discussions. The event gathered approximately 1200 participants for 3 days of discussions featuring industrial leaders, policymakers, SME representatives, start-uppers, researchers, and civil society representatives.

The InvestEU team was present at the 2023 Web Summit in Lisbon. Being one of the largest global technology conferences, the Web Summit was visited by more than 70,000 people. At the InvestEU stand visitors received information about the InvestEU financing opportunities and support.

In spring the InvestEU Portal will partner up again with European Business Angels Network (EBAN) to organise the EBAN Annual Congress 2024! The event will gather start-ups and hundreds of early-stage investors from all over the world. Stay tuned for more information!
