On 26 August, selected InvestEU Portal projects operating in the field of BIO-tech took part in a virtual pitching event with US investors, organized by Invest EU Portal’s cooperation partner Enrich.

We are thrilled that together with its partner EuroQuity (BPI France), the InvestEU Portal team organized a tailored e-pitching event on women-entrepreneurship. Five selected InvestEU Portal innovative start-ups co-founded or led by brilliant women took part and pitched to top investors.

The InvestEU Portal and the European Business Angel Network (EBAN) co-organized the European Angel Investment Summit (EAIS) taking place in Brussels on 11 and 12 October. The two-day summit provided pitching opportunities for 15 selected InvestEU Portal innovative start-ups and a dedicated InvestEU workshop on the InvestEU Portal and on Equity Products to co-invest with Angels.

On 10 November, the InvestEU Portal partnered up again with EuroQuity (BPI France) to organise a virtual pitching session on Space Solutions. Five InvestEU Portal companies operating in the field of Space with innovative solutions pitched and gained visibility in front of investors.

The InvestEU Portal was promoted on several occasions in the second half of the year at the InvestEU Roadshow events taking place in capital cities across Europe. Further roadshows are planned for the year 2023. The InvestEU Roadshows are a series of high-level events organised by the EIB Group to explain how the InvestEU programme works and can benefit your city or region, your business or your community.

The InvestEU Portal Team also promoted the Portal and the general InvestEU Programme, at the EU Finance Days, which took place in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Ireland and Latvia throughout the year. The EU Finance Days 2022 are organised by the European Commission services & Representations, with the aim of presenting the new financial and support programmes to relevant stakeholders in the form of webinars.

In spring the InvestEU Portal will partner up again with European Business Angels Network (EBAN) to organise the EBAN Annual Congress 2023! The event will gather start-ups and hundreds of early stage investors from all over the world. Stay tuned for more information!

We are excited to announce that the European Angels Investment Summit 2023 co-organised by the InvestEU Portal and the European Angels Business Network (EBAN) will be back in Brussels in October 2023. It will host hundreds of investors, selected startups, policymakers and corporates.

Throughout the year 2023 the InvestEU Portal and EuroQuity (BPI France) will co-organize 4 e-pitching events in various thematic spheres, ranging from sustainability to digital. Stay tuned for the dates and topics!
