Dear Hub members,
|
Get ready to embark on an exhilarating journey through the world of hackathons this month! We are thrilled to announce that we are gearing up for an October filled with thrilling events, discussions, and opportunities, all centered around the fascinating theme of hackathons, especially the DigiEduHack initiative!
Do you want to know more about how DigiEduHack and other technological solutions can help develop effective digital education? Mark your calendars and seize the opportunity to take part in our next Knowledge Building Activity on data and technology inspired education on 3 October and a day after in our info session on DigiEduHack where we will explain why joining a hackathon is encouraging and fun for everyone. Furthermore, we would like to draw your attention to the upcoming Teachers as Researchers week taking place on 9-11 October, which also focuses on hackathons. If you have not joined DigiEduHack yet, it's not too late to become a host for this year’s edition taking place on 6-13 November. Hosting an event is your chance to shine and share your passion for digital education within and beyond your institution. Let's stir our creativity and find solutions for pressing challenges in digital education together!
At the end of this week, we are hosting our last community workshop for this year on digital skills in Brussels, there we will kick off the November theme, which will focus on digital skills. On this topic, we are gathering knowledge and experience through our new call for best practices on digital skills. We will appreciate your contribution. Don't miss on 13 October the Ask Me Anything session on Digital Prison Education and last but not least, explore our latest uploaded read to explore the topic of digital music education and see our Hub highlights from the past months below.
Stay tuned for the exiting Hub activities and get ready to ignite your coding spirit!

New Call for best practices – Digital skills
|
Once again, we are looking to collect and share best practices in digital education from across all education and training sectors, thus making the Hub a community where members can share and learn from each other. So, help us share your stories by taking part in the most recent Call for best practices! This Call is dedicated to collecting best practices on digital skills – if you have developed and implemented innovative, successful initiatives in this area, fill in the brief questionnaire and we will get back to you so we can share your experience with the community in the Reading Corner and beyond.
This call is open until 10 October 2023. If you'd like to see more about what we've done so far, check out our Reading Corner! And…if you can think of someone else who could contribute, invite them to register in the Hub and discover what it has to offer. Let's build together on shared experiences!
