With a budget totalling €6.6 billion over 2021-2027, the MSCA support researchers from all over the world, at all stages of their careers and in all disciplines. They also benefit organisations with support for excellent doctoral, postdoctoral programmes and collaborative research and innovation projects. Following the adoption of the Horizon Europe 2021-2022 work programme, the first calls for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships, Doctoral Networks and MSCA and Citizens opened on 22 June 2021.

The European Commission presents an online information session for potential applicants to the call for proposals MSCA International Cooperation 2021. The goal of this call is to foster international cooperation in MSCA in Horizon Europe. This dedicated support action will complement and ensure coordination between existing promotion channels at local level.

This online event will present the MSCA programme under Horizon Europe and encourage organisations and researchers to apply. The session is open to researchers, higher education institutions, research institutes, research funding agencies, companies, private institutions and many other organisations currently involved in the MSCA or interested in applying to future funding calls for the first time.

The event will bring together excellent projects and researchers funded under the MSCA, as well as other research and innovation initiatives under the remit of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC). It will convene EU policymakers, researchers and experts to explore the role of research & innovation in achieving the goals of the European Green Deal.
