Consortium partner recently awarded with European Commission funding in the EU fight against Covid-19 launches spinout
Tyndall National Institute, previously selected as part of a consortium awarded European Commission funding in the EU fight against Covid-19, announced the launch of its biophotonics spinout BioPixS. Irish SME BioPixS translates cutting-edge research into hi-tech, innovative products to advance the biophotonics market. Their core product delivers homogenised stand-ins for human tissues that simulate the interaction of light with tissue, reducing time and cost to develop high-tech biomedical devices.

The Digital Health Europe Second Call for Twinnings: winning tenders announced
Eleven tenders were awarded following the evaluation of the Second Call for Twinnings. The majority of tenders are focused on digital tools for citizen empowerment and person-centred care. In total, 35 organisations from 16 countries are involved in the adoption and transfer of innovative solutions between European regions. DigitalHealthEurope is funding a Twinning Scheme which directly supports the replication and scaling up of successful and highly impactful digital health and care solutions in Europe.
