EU Code Week 2019 reaches all-time high with more than 66 000 activities

The 7th edition of EU Code Week set a new record in the number of activities organised in Europe and beyond. This year saw active teachers and schools play a key role in the expansion of EU Code Week.

Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, shared her congratulations to all participants of EU Code Week 2019, which was again a record-breaking year for the initiative with over 66 000 activities organized, approximately 22 000 more than in the 2018 edition.
