The Directive on the re-use of Public Sector Information (the “PSI Directive” ) stipulated that all accessible information produced and collected by public sector institutions must be made available for reuse under open terms. Given the growing importance of open research data in the economy, the European Commission wishes to engage in a debate concerning the possible extension of the Directive to publicly-funded research data.

The networking sessions will take place during the ICT 2015 event on 20-22 October 2015 in Lisbon. Networking sessions aim to create new, lasting and productive links between participants with concrete and action-oriented implications. The proposals must be submitted in accordance with the three qualitative criteria below and be suitable for the time slots and venues available during the event. The European Commission will select the most relevant proposals for the networking sessions.
