'Ten priorities for Europe' - get the overview
On taking office in late 2014, Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker set out 10 key political priorities aimed at rebuilding bridges in Europe after the crisis and restoring the confidence of European citizens. These priorities focus on the key challenges currently facing our economies and societies. The Commission is intent on improving peoples’ lives by creating jobs and growth and building a fairer society. A €315 billion investment plan to kick-start this process is now up and running. Our Single Market is being upgraded to create more opportunities for people and businesses. Projects such as the Digital Single Market, the Capital Markets Union and the Energy Union are reducing obstacles to cross-border activities whilst, at the same time, stimulating innovation, connecting talents and offering a wider choice of products and services.

How does the EU look? Map it!
When someone asks the question "what does Europe look like?" – there can be many different answers. One of the most simple and popular ways of answering is to show a map. In response to the many enquiries EU communicators receive, DG Communication produces a number of geographical maps of the European Union. They can be used by anybody who informs others about Europe and might want to print or show a correct geographical map. We provide these maps in our own publications, but also offer the files free of charge or copyright restrictions to other communicators. We continuously ensure that the content is correct - January 2016 is the date of the latest update (the EU did not change recently, but the structure of regions in France did).

It will be accompanied by a highlights brochure (16 pages). While the full report is foreseen for those who follow the EU most closely, the highlights brochure will be ideal for distributing to the general public via your mailing lists, events, and information points. They are a flexible aid for teachers and speakers giving presentations about the EU. They are open for editing - any of our multipliers can re-use the illustrations, graphs, or template. The content also shows a number of tangible advantages of the EU, as well as the more traditional subjects of EU history, treaties and institutions.

"Europe – easy peasy": 50 pages of crafting, guessing, painting for 9-13 year olds
Half a million copies printed over a period of almost ten years in Germany alone, that is the success story of a brochure for 9 to 13 year olds developed by the Commission Representation in Berlin. "Europe – easy peasy" or "Europa kinderleicht" as it is called in German, was also licenced and reproduced by Commission Representations in Lithuania, Luxembourg and Romania. Over more than 50 pages and several annexes children learn about geography, history, people, languages and the culture of Europe and the EU. Crafting tasks, quizzes, drawing, mystery games and other tasks make the brochure an amazingly interactive pedagogical tool. German 16 federal Länder also reproduced the brochure adding regional content of their own.
