Stakeholders across Europe submitted their ideas to accelerate the market-uptake of energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions under the Call for Proposals 2023 of the LIFE Clean Energy Transition sub-programme. The call closed on 16 November 2023.

The selected projects cover both works and studies in the fields of electricity, gas, CO2 and smart grids. They involve 10 countries, with 5 of the 8 projects focusing on CO2 networks, for which the funding allocated is EUR 479.5 million.

Cuibhil, a project with the mission to use an innovative pyrolysis process to recycle end-of-life tyres in an environmentally responsible way, has received support from Green Assist to improve its carbon footprint assessment and waste management practices and to reduce its imprint on the environment.
