CEF Energy launches EUR 750 million call for energy infrastructure projects

CINEA has launched a new call for proposals with EUR 750 million available for key cross-border EU energy infrastructure projects included on the 5th list of Projects of Common Interest (PCIs). A virtual info day on the call will be held on 12 May.

RENEWFM: The EU Renewable Energy Financing Mechanism launches its first call for proposals

The first-ever call for proposal of the EU Renewable Energy Financing Mechanism opened on 18 April with EUR 40 million available for new solar PV projects located in Finland. CINEA is organising an info day on 25 April to explain all the details about this call.

Innovation Fund third call for small-scale cleantech projects

The Commission has announced the third call for small-scale projects, with EUR 100 million available for cleantech initiatives across all EU ETS sectors. To give prospecting projects a head start, we have made available in the call page a range of documents, recordings, tutorials, and calculator examples to help you through the Innovation Fund application process.

CO2NTROL to help shippers reduce their carbon footprint

Thanks to the CO2NTROL project, exporters and importers can search for shipping lines with the lowest CO₂ emissions from pick-up to delivery. With the support of the EMFF fund, the project has developed an innovative methodology to calculate emissions based on accurate data from a robust API system.

CEF Energy: the Biscay Gulf electricity interconnection moves forward

The contracts for the construction works of the Biscay Gulf interconnector have been awarded. The project aims to connect Gatika (Spain) and Cubnezais (France) and will become the first submarine interconnection between Spain and France, benefiting both countries and Europe more widely.
