115 proposals competing for EUR 99 million in sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply topics
|
Check out the latest Horizon Europe call results with 115 project proposals submitted, requesting more than EUR 766 million over 8 sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply topics.

LIFE Clean Energy Transition Call 2022 received 225 proposals
|
Overall 18 topics with a total budget of EUR 98M were open in areas such as improving building energy performance, supporting public authorities in the clean energy transition, building skills and capacity in industry, mainstreaming innovative financing solutions and mobilising investment projects, etc. Selected projects will benefit from a 95% co-funding rate and those LIFE Clean Energy Transition projects are expected to go live in summer 2023.

EU action plan for digitalisation of energy
|
The European Commission adopted in October the 'Digitalisating the energy system - EU action plan', a system-wide digitalisation energy action plan that aims to contribute to the EU energy policy objectives by supporting the development of a sustainable, (cyber)secure, transparent and competitive market for digital energy services, ensuring data privacy and sovereignty, and supporting investment in digital energy infrastructure.

GREEN ASSIST has been launched at Ecomondo
|
The European Commission launched GREEN ASSIST on 9 November at Ecomondo. Funded with EUR 30 million from the LIFE programme, the new advisory initiative helps beneficiaries to green their investments and/or projects across diversified sectors, for instance by integrating nature-based solutions or circular economy principles.

Exemplary climate and clean energy transition actions at the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum
|
The 2022 edition of the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum – Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place took place on 18 October and attracted over 400 participants, with more than 250 attendees joining the event onsite in Brussels.
