Staging Manager - Decommission and replacement of custom sorry pages

One year ago the old Staging Manager was replaced by the new Asset Manager. This new corporate tool allows to manage static HTML websites as well as binary files on the Europa domains. The decommission of the old Staging Manager will be finalised by end of July.

Prior to the decommission of the old tool, the custom sorry pages will be replaced by a global one. The list of custom sorry pages is available in this document: custom-sorry-pages.xlsx. The global sorry page was developed by the user experience (UX) team of the Europa Web Communication unit in COMM. Here is the template of the global sorry page: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/webtools/asset-manager/stg/europa.eu/sorry.html.

Access to the old Staging Manager and the custom sorry pages will be blocked on Wednesday 7 July 2021. The new global sorry page will be made available at that time. The request to decommission the old Staging Manager will be made on Wednesday 14 July 2021. By the end of the month the old tool will be definitively retired.
