We are pleased to announce that registration for our 5th Citizen Participation and Deliberative Democracy Festival is OPEN. The Festival runs for three days from June 12-14 in Brussels. The agenda features VIP and expert panels, interactive workshops, a city tour and art installations and performances. You can also browse the online exhibition of projects and resources. Summit for Democracy

The 3rd Summit for Democracy convened government representatives, activists, academics and practitioners in South Korea to build a “Democracy for Future Generations" in March. Graham Allen, Convenor of the Citizens’ Convention for UK Democracy, updates us on the Deliberative Democracy and Citizens’ Assemblies Cohort discussions.

Understanding the impact of Citizen Engagement on Policy, Institutions and Society

A JRC study is exploring impact of citizen engagement to better understand how participatory processes influence and transform policymaking and society.
