This is a quick update to let you know that although registration is now closed, you can still watch the launch of the Competence Centre on Participatory and Deliberative Democracy on 6th October at 9:45am CEST via LIVESTREAM HERE.
The programme includes Commission Vice-Presidents Věra Jourová and Dubravka Šuica, as well as Commissioner Mariya Gabriel. The agenda features practitioners and policymakers who will offer their take on how the Competence Centre will help strengthen citizen engagement and advance participatory and deliberative democracy across the Commission, other EU Institutions, as well as Member States and their regions. We will provide an overview of the Competence Centre’s tools, resources and projects, including guidance on citizen engagement and a new website which hosts databases of organisations and projects across Europe.
