Highlights
- EU avg. farm gate milk price increased to 44.22 c/kg in October 2023, +1.8% compared to Sep 2023, but -21.9% to Oct 2022;
- Estimated price for November: 44.44 c/kg (+0.5% compared to Oct 2023);
- In October 2023 EU avg. raw milk price was -22% lower than in October 2022, with highest decreases in IE (-41%, estimate), NL (-34%) and SE (-31%); lowest decreases in CY (-0%), HR (-1%) and FR (-2%);
- The highest organic raw milk prices in October 2023: CY (104.1), ES (62.0 c/kg), BG (61.4 c/kg), IT (59.6 c/kg) and NL (57.6c/kg);
- The lowest organic raw milk prices in October 2023: LV (33.5 c/kg), EE (40.7 c/kg), SE (42.8 c/kg), and LT (44.8 c/kg);
- Compared to Sep 2023, the Oct 2023 milk price is down in US (41.3 c/kg; -3.8%) and up in NZ (30.8c/kg; +0.5%).
